Mr. Personality -- July 1953 Here I am at 3
months or so. Mom said the smile was pretty much my attitude back then. What
did I have to complain about? |

The Essex Depot as Nursery Dad is
holding me outside his depot at Essex. He was agent from 1947-56. If you look real
close, you will see that the smile is gone here. Perhaps it was the smell of
Creosote I didn't like. |

Digging Out, Winter, 1955. Early
in '55, I am digging our 1950 Ford out of the snow.
I still drive a Ford. I not long ago had to dig one out of a Montana
Snowbank.

class of '35. Ordway Lewis Persyn, (1917-1991) was born and raised on the Idaho side of town, called
