Visual supports help eliminate behavior problems and create greater independence for your child. You will understand how to create your own or find the resources online for already available visuals. There will be many examples and explanations of how to implement this in everyday life. Since children with Down syndrome are visual learners this approach helps them learn and recall information faster for more progress in multiple areas. We all use visuals every day. Provide those supports for your child too. Summer will be a perfect time for you to implement this support at home.
