Join DSACT and Stacy Taylor as Mrs. Taylor describes innovative, effective teaching strategies and explains the science behind learning and behavior, and how to translate that science into practice. In this conference, participants will learn new ways to help children learn familiar skills by creating an engaging, positive experience. The conference will be devoted to two particular focus areas:

Innovative Effective Teaching Strategies Learning is not one size fits all and teaching shouldn’t be either. We must meet our children where they are at and find ways to motivate them to be excited about learning. In this conference, participants will learn new ways to help their child learn some familiar skills. When teaching is fun, and we create an engaging, positive experience, our children will want to be there with us and learning will happen.

Behavior News You Can Use! Behavior can be frustrating and confusing, but the good news is that there is a science of learning and behavior that can help you no matter what age or stage your child is in.  It is important to understand the basics of behavior because once you do, you can apply them to a variety of situations. Participants will learn these behavior basics and effective strategies they can use to prevent and respond to their child’s behavior.

TEA credit is offered. Lunch is provided with conference registration. Registration is $35.00 per person.
