Peggy Wolf

Education Manager

Peggy joined DSACT in August 2014 as Education Manager, having retired from Round Rock ISD after 22 years of service as a Functional Academic Teacher, Functional Academic and Life Skills Lead Specialist, member of the Transition Team and a district Support Specialist. She is excited about the opportunities to provide parents and teachers with current research based knowledge and tools to develop independent, fulfilling lives for individuals with Down syndrome.  Parents, teachers, the DSACT Board and the community working together are guaranteed to make a difference in the future of individuals.

Peggy has two grown married children, Michelle and Kurt, and one grandchild, Noah.  She enjoys time with Noah, walking, traveling, and gathering with friends for cards and games.

Outreach and operations manager


Laura joined the DSACT team in April 2017. Laura holds a bachelors degree from Penn State University and a masters degree from The University of Texas at Austin. She previously coordinated grants, volunteers, and community relations with Austin Child Guidance Center and was most recently a case manager with the Early Childhood Intervention program in Travis County.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys being outside, working out, trying to get rid of a black thumb in her garden, and indulging in a guilty pleasure of "Law and Order."

Asha joined DSACT in January 2018 as the Programs and Events Coordinator. Originally from a small town in Georgia, Asha holds a bachelors degree in Human Services with a concentration in Nonprofit Administration. Asha got her start in the nonprofit world doing recreational programming and special events for a summer camp that served individuals with disabilities. She is thrilled to be a part of the DSACT team and honored that she gets to continue serving the disability community.

Asha has two dogs, one boyfriend, and enjoys spending time at home with all three. She also loves to blog, do yoga, listen to podcasts and audiobooks, and try out new gluten-free recipes.
