Jennifer comes to DSACT with many years of leadership experience in nonprofits, from grassroots to national organizations. These organizations all had something in common: wonderful missions. It was the DSACT mission that attracted Jennifer to join the DSACT team. Most recently Jennifer was Chief Executive Officer of Literacy Texas, the statewide adult literacy coalition. Jennifer has specific expertise in governance, strategic planning, and fundraising. A long time (south) Austinite, she enjoys painting, reading, and traveling.
Peggy joined DSACT in August 2014 as Education Manager, having retired from Round Rock ISD after 22 years of service as a Functional Academic Teacher, Functional Academic and Life Skills Lead Specialist, member of the Transition Team and a district Support Specialist. Parents, teachers, the DSACT Board and the community working together are guaranteed to make a difference in the future of individuals.
