Ages 6+ Years
This level is intended for swimmers that are comfortable in the water and ready to work on increasing their distance and endurance. Use of kick-boards and noodles are used to help the student gain skills and confidence in the water as needed. They will learn how to swim free style, backstroke, breaststroke, swimming laps with and without a kick-board or noodles, and how to jump into the pool properly. Pool safety is emphasized and independence from parent is encouraged and nurtured.
This class is held in the lap pool. Parent participation is required until instructor approves swimmer to participate without parent.
