TECHNICAL, ENGINEERING, and MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE:

Apollo Group, Inc., Baton Rouge, LA.  Regional Director of Information Technology.  Responsible for the academic and administrative networks of the Southeast Region, which compasses six states and Puerto Rico.  My team provides support for all corporate divisions, including the University of Phoenix and the Institute of Professional Development.

University of Phoenix, Tucson, AZ, and Baton Rouge, LA.  Technology Programs Administrator of the IS&T Faculty.  Teach BSCIS and MSCIS as well as  Microsoft Official Curriculum courses.  Student evaluations collected by Microsoft average approximately 97% of possible approval points.  February 1999-present.

Premier Health Care of Arizona, Inc.  Tucson, AZ.  Director of Information Technology.  Manage and administer large network for a Health Insurance company that also is a Web-based Software Developer for the Health Care industry.  HP-UX, SAN, StorageTEK, SQL 7.0, Site Server 3.0, Exchange 5.5, and Windows clients are among technologies supported.  Multiple P-LANs supported for Development, Production, and the SAN.  August 1999-January 2000.

Keane, Inc., Tucson, AZ.  Technical Trainer.  Duties in the CTEC as well as endorsements in Microsoft NEST and EST training for their Support Engineers and Managers.  June 1998 to February 1999.

Microsoft CorporationOutsourced to Keane, Inc. Tucson, AZ.  Senior Software Support Engineer, Web Response Lead.   Technical Support Engineer, Mentor, and Supervisor for Windows95, FrontPage1.1, FrontPage97, FrontPage98, FrontPage for the Macintosh.   June 1997 to February 1999.

University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona. Web Administrator. Graduate Administrative Assistant responsible for the WWW services of the College of Fine Arts. Supervised the installation and maintenance of network servers. Assisted in the administration of a large peer network of workstations for student use. 1995-1996.

University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona. Web Consultant. Coordinated the electronic publication of a periodical for the College of Agriculture. Spring 1996.

SpoCAD, Spokane, WA. AutoCAD instructor and consultant. 1988-1991.

Ponderay Newsprint, Usk, WA. AutoCAD Senior Technician and Networking Consultant.  1990.

Burlington Northern Railroad Seattle Region, Seattle, WA. Centralized Traffic Control Maintainer; Signalman; Assistant Signalman. Over 10 years as a worker responsible for installation, inspection, and maintenance of railroad Traffic Control Systems, including the WAN links, within a responsibility budget, insuring their compliance with federal and corporate standards of quality and safety. 1974-1987.

Istrouma Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, Baton Rouge, LA.  Vice-President of Program (Current).  As a member of the executive committee and executive board, I oversee all program related activities within the Council.  Reporting to me are the chairs of the Activities, Advancement, Camping, and Training committees.

Catalina Council, Boy Scouts of America, Tucson, AZ. Volunteer position on Exploring Committee as Training Committeeman, former Chairman. In 1996, was an essential person in the annual financial campaign, which reached 105% of goal.

Inland Northwest Council, Boy Scouts of America, Spokane, WA. Summer employment for several years as Program Director, Shooting Sports Director, and Business Manager. In my last position in this council, I served as Council Manager of Camps enabling me to help touch the lives of approximately 10,000 youth at three regional camps. Volunteer position as Chairman of Sea Exploring Committee (Commodore) as well as other committees. Assisted with annual funding campaign for 5 consecutive years. 43 years of scouting experience with Istrouma Area, Catalina, Inland NW, Golden Empire, Idaho Panhandle and Western Montana councils.  1982-1993.

Superior String Alliance, Marquette, MI. Director. Administrative and recreational director for a major music camp lasting two weeks in July and August 1993.

Encore House, Gonzaga University, Spokane, WA. House Director. Live-in host of the house for the Student Life outreach for students over 25 years of age. Directed and planned activities for students and their families. In this capacity, I also served on the Student Orientation Staff of the University for three years.  1987-1990.

Flathead Valley Community College, Kalispell, MT. Member of the Board of Trustees. Elected to serve on the Board of Trustees of the College, during a period of transition of Administration. Assisted in the selection and hiring of the President of the College. Oversight of fiscal operations of the College. 1974-1976

CONDUCTING / SINGING / TEACHING / MINISTERIAL EXPERIENCE:

Superior Festival Orchestra, Marquette, MI. Singer.  Baritone Soloist for Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 in d, 2 performances.  July, 1999.

Tucson Unified School District No. 1, Tucson, AZ. Visiting Teacher. Employment as a certificated visiting teacher in various schools throughout the district, as called and available.  1995-1997.

Heart Butte School District No. 1, Heart Butte, MT. Music Teacher. Full time contracted and certificated position on Blackfoot Reservation in Montana. 1996-97.

First Congregational Church, Tucson, AZ. Minister of Music. Envision, plan, support, and direct this active and first-quality music ministry. These duties include the supervision of a professional music staff of 6 to 7 musicians. As a member of the pastoral team, responsibilities include a major fund raising event each February to support the Music Ministry. 1995-1996.

Columbia Choral Society, Columbia, SC. Professional Core Singer. One of four paid professionals in the region's premiere chorus, which serves as the chorus for the South Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra.

Voice Teacher, Spokane, WA, New Orleans, LA, Savannah and Statesboro, GA, and Tucson, AZ. Private studio teacher with students from 10 through 74 years of age.  1991-1998.

University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ. Assistant Director, Collegium Musicum. Artistic and administrative assistant to the Director, who is Professor of Musicology at the University. Wrote program notes, designed posters, managed publicity and press releases, and conducted in absence of Director. 1995-1998.

University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ. Director, Honors Choir. Responsible for program, rehearsal, and performance of the University of Arizona Honors Choir, a select group representing all academic disciplines within the University. Additional duties assisting the Director of Choral Activities as assigned.  1994-1995.

Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Tucson, AZ. Music Director. Responsible for all music programs of the church, including adult and youth choirs, as well as adult and youth hand bell organizations, assisted by a professional organist. Fall 1994.

South Carolina Opera Company, Columbia, SC. Chorus Master. Prepared the opera chorus for performances of Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera in April and May, 1994.

University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC. Teaching Assistant, University Chorus. Rehearsal of varied choral literature with the largest vocal ensemble at the University. Approximately three-quarters was unsupervised experience. 1993-1994.

Loyola University, New Orleans, LA. Assistant to Director of Choral Activities. Steven Edwards, Director. Duties included supervised and unsupervised programming, preparation, rehearsal, and performance of an opera production and of various choral groups, with special responsibility for Women's Chorus and University Chorus in 1991-92 and for Chamber Singers and University Chorus in 1992-93.

Symphony Chorus of New Orleans/Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, New Orleans, LA. Assistant Conductor. Two years of duties as understudy and as administrative and artistic assistant including organization board meetings and direction of sectional rehearsals and conducting in absence of the conductor. 1991-1993.

Ignatius Chapel, Loyola University, New Orleans, LA. Music Director. Responsible for 2 Sunday masses each week Fall 1991.

St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Spokane, WA. Director of Music and Liturgy. Planned, rehearsed, and directed musical aspects of liturgy of Roman Catholic Parish. 1990-1991.

Liberty Park United Methodist Church, Spokane, WA. Director of Music. Planned, rehearsed, and directed music at this musically aware church community. 1989-1990.

New Orleans Opera, Inc., New Orleans, LA. Singer. Compremario role in Verdi opera Don Carlo as Deputato Fiammingo, October 1992.

Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra / Symphony Chorus of New Orleans, New Orleans, LA. Singer. Incidental baritone solos in Orff's Carmina Burana November 1992.  Appearance at Carnegie Hall, March, 2007.

Gonzaga University Choir / Spokane Chamber Orchestra, Spokane, WA Singer - Featured Soloist. Professional Engagement singing bass solos in joint university and Orchestra presentation of G. F. Handel's Messiah, December 1992.
